I just received similar...
"This email is to confirm that you recently made a Funds Transfer to a payee with account ending 9923 for the first time.".
Quoted 3 BPAY transactions and asked to login to bank and check payments list and cancel if not correct.
I am sure this is a scam but I am now somewhat concerned that if I login to my bank the password etc may be monitored..??
I am actually with ANZ so will send message to them to advise.
Still investigating, but seems a fraudulent attempt to impersonate ANZ to clear a first time payee. Received an mail with this number. I am not an ANZ customer, so very likely a scam.
