The caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank, stating that there was an attempt to process a transaction of $99 from my account.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon and stated that a purchase had been made using my Amazon account, which I don't actually have. They tried to convince me that I do have an account and mentioned they would send me a message with a verification code. I ended the call as I didn't want to engage with this scam attempt any further.
Firstly said good evening when it was just after lunch time. (Dead giveaway) said was Telstra. Did not engage, hung up.
