I received a call from a lady who claimed to be a representative from Suncorp. She asked me to verify some personal details, but I declined. However, she kindly suggested that I call the SunCorp hotline to confirm her identity. After waiting about 10 minutes, I did so and found that she was indeed a legitimate representative from Suncorp.

Suncorp is aware I won't answer unsolicited phone calls from unknown numbers to discuss sensitive details like my bank account.

Unless they aren't capable of reading I would say this number is being spoofed as I received multiple calls from it.

I spoke with Suncorp regarding this call and confirmed that it is a scam.

The caller had a difficult-to-understand Indian accent and left a message suggesting that I pay an invoice or contact a 1300 number. I want to clarify that I do not bank with Suncorp.

This is Suncorp's Fraud detection group. It's legitimate. They are likely calling as there has been some suspicious activity on your account. This was true for me.

This call was from the legitimate fraud prevention team at Suncorp.

Is actually Suncorp bank. I opted for a return call and this was the number they returned my call from.

A woman called me, claiming to represent Suncorp Bank. She asked me to verify my account information and answer questions about my private data. I find this request completely unreasonable and suspect it is a scam.

I answered a call from a person with a local Australian accent. They refused to share the reason for their call unless I provided my personal identification information, which raised my suspicions.

I verified this number with Suncorp, and it is legit. The person on the other end is genuine and not involved in any fraudulent activity.

The caller was impersonating Suncorp and attempted to collect personal information from me. They replicated a security clearance protocol and said they needed that information before explaining their reason for the call.

I suspect that this is a scam call as the caller was pretending to be from Suncorp Bank, which raises my concerns about the legitimacy of the call.
