I didn't even bother engaging any further and just hung up on this scammer, then blocked the number.

SCAM ALERT! This guy is impersonating Telstra. Said I needed to give him my ip address as it had been reported as suspicious.
I said in what way & he said that it was being used in various locations.
He asked me to put my phone on speaker and read out my ip address.
I said I was driving and asked if I could call him back on this number. He said "no, you have to speak to me now"
I said "look I'm on the freeway and can't just pull up my ip address driving at 110kmh, I will call you back"
He said they didn't accept incoming calls and he would hold on the line and wait for me to pull over. I said you will be waiting a while as I have a long drive ahead of me, I will just call Telstra Security on this number when it is safe for me to pull over.
Male then became verbally abusive so I hung up & blocked the number.
Male with Indian accent said he was Mark from Telstra security and someone had hacked into my computer. Could hear a lot of yelling in the background so believed this to be from a call.
Centre. He wanted me to give him access to my phone by way of ip address saying if I gave that to him, he would prevent these hackers.
I knew immediately to be a scam so asked him if I could call back. It was then that he got verbally aggressive and said they did not accept incoming calls.
I believe this is another red flag as if Telstra would not accept incoming calls.
Blocked these scammers.
I also got a call from this scammer. He had Indian accent and was supposedly from Telstra. Said his name was Mark and my ip address has been compromised. I could hear a lot of call centre noise in the background by way of people yelling obscenities. It was clear this was a scam call as they were yelling just login and give me your ip address. I told the scammer I was a bit busy right now so I would call him back. He screamed at me saying "if you want hackers to stop using your details you will make the time to sort this out NOW!"
I then just hung up and blocked.
SCAMMERS POSING AS Telstra SECURITY!
I am job hunting so am answering all local calls. Just received a call from this number with the male posing as "Mark Johnson - from Telstra Security", mind you I could hear a lot of yelling in the background which was a busy call centre type environment. He was extremely difficult to understand.
"Mark" claimed that people had hacked into my internet and my IP address was used by numerous people and this needed to be addressed.
I acted as though I didn't know what an IP address was and said I don't really use the internet. He then went on to say that all my passwords and "secrets" were being shared all around the world and just wanted to confirm my IP address and wanted to know what devices I used for internet. I said I was an old lady and didn't know what a device meant. He said "iPhones, iPads and so on" I told him I didn't have either and only used my laptop to send emails to family. He said he needed me to log I to my laptop. I told him I wasn't near it, so he asked me to put my phone on speaker. I told him my phone didn't have a speaker. He said "all phones have speakers". I said that I was using a rotary phone and that was my only phone.
He had obviously had enough of me by this stage, and he told me to f*k off and hung up on me.
