An automated voice message alerted me that someone was attempting to withdraw $200 from my eBay account. I was then connected to a representative who suggested that my account might be hacked. When I asked what information they needed, specifically if my credit card details were necessary, the call went silent. Always be cautious and never share your bank card information.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Visa Mastercard concerning potential fraudulent activity on my internet banking.
This call was identified as an NBN scam. They hung up as soon as I started to realize what was happening and questioned them.
