Some male in an Indian accent called me off private and asked to speak to a Joey Antiado. He sounded very frustrated the whole time and after telling him I don't know who this Joey is and why he is calling, he tells me a number of times "if Joey is there can you get him on the phone". I told him to delete my number off their database and if they decide to call again I will tell them to stick it.

Just got a phone call from these guys from Baycorp, they show up as ''No caller ID'' and will ask for someone else in your family stating that they couldn't get in contact with them.

Tonight I recieved a call from a jane asking if she could speak with my husband K.

Baycorp - debt collection agency buys debts at cheap rates and annoy the crap out of people that don't even own debts or have already paid them off. Have reputation for being barely legal in their dealings. Refuse to give them information and inform them not to call you again.

A debt collector is not allowed to contact a third-party more than once unless requested to do so by the third party. In other words, if a debt collector calls a consumer’s parents, or sister, or co-worker, they cannot call again unless that person asks them to call them again. There’s a pretty slim chance of that happening.

If a debt collector has called someone else about your debt, ask that person how many times the debt collector called. There’s a decent chance it happened more than once.

Got the same dodgy looking letter today from Baycorp Collections department regarding an 'urgent' matter. I know what my debts are and they don't involve Baycorp. I called the number and after a considerable delay (probably bouncing off a few satellites) I got what I think was not an Anglo voice with a lot of background noise. I gave the reference number but they wanted more information which I refused to give them. I told them that I thought that they were a scam and the call was disconnected. F*k them.

My experience is similar to those above; a dodgy phone message with no detail, demanding an urgent call. A week later a one line letter seeking urgent contact at this number. Complete rubbish, probably hoping to trap vulnerable people.

I received a letter in the mail, addressed to me, stating to call them on that number to discuss an urgent matter. It was literally a one line sentence on a letter without a letterhead, just some small print at the bottom saying Body Corporate Recovery Services. The ACN was Baycorps ACN. Seems very dodgy.

Mine is the same experience as the ones above. A missed call (without phone ringing) and message to call them back with my reference number. Call back and they want me to give them information without telling me anything. After I said I was not going to give her anything (she wouldn't even identify herself) she asked if I was Angela Savage (which I am not) and then said she would take me off a call list. Very dodgy and would definatley not be giving these people any info.

I received a message from baycorp regarding an urgent issue after missing a private call. I called back and gave the reference number they gave me but would not tell me anything unless I gave them my personal details, which I refused and have not heard from them since.

A lady named Gladis called saying she was from BayGroup and requested an urgent call back in relation to a particular matter and even gave me a reference number. It's a scam and we have no association with BayGroup and the numbers given do not match what's listed on their website. When I answered the call, the number was withheld and this number was the one she gave me to call back on.
