Anthony Luff goes as Tony from Burraba NSW. Yep did the same to me. I fell for his smooth chit chat and very convincing! The guy obviously has a psychological issue.
Kept promising to pay the deposit for an high end car of $200k and when questioned about his behaviour he said lawyers are onto finding the fake Tony Luff!!
Just hang up the phone on him.
Such a loser.
He just tried to purchase two Ferraris from me for a total of 2.5 Million US. Retired in finance he said. Building a collection. I just had a gut feeling and Googled his name. Thanks for the heads up. I have already blocked him.
Tried to buy a truck from my father, faked a kidney injury after saying he would take the vehicle along with modifications required for its RWC and registration.
After reading the comments below I don’t need to say much else as it’s been said and some.
Not angry, just disappointed.
Anthony Thomas Luff of 11 Railway st Barraba contacted me regarding the purchase of my high end super car. Said all the right things, did all the right things, communicated in all the right ways right up to the receipt of the agreed money which he assured me was sent on multiple occasions! I was confused until I googled his name then it all became clear. Well clearer I suppose. I have absolutely no idea what his end game is but the end result is an enormous waste of time. Not so much a scammer but obviously delusional. All a bit frustrating!
Absolutely a time waster I advertised an expensive car told me was going transfer funds asked for details of extras talked the tslk but when it came to paying was nothing but empty promises Hes either got mental issues or is a scammer very good at his job!!!!
I work for a high end car showroom in the uk. He has pretended to purchase 2 cars worth millions. Asks for an invoice and then pretends payment wouldn’t work.
Is it possible to know what sort of cars he bought from you as he has been asking for multi millions euro cars around the world without buying anything ?
Scammer, miss lead us on a new car sale. Why someone would waste good honest people’s time is concerning. The karma bus is coming Luffy!!!!!
We found Anthony great to deal with in the purchase of a classic car. The deal was settled in four days. Am amazed at some of the comments, perhaps sour grapes!
This person is a scammer. Talks a big game but is full of it. Promises the world but nothing. Goes by the name of Tony (Anthony) Luff pf 11 Railway Street Barraba Nsw 2347.
Inquires to purchase cars, after first phone call he never calls backs.
Complete time waster.
Scammer said he would buy a horse, didn't quibble about price said he woyld put money in my account then nothing. Very convincing.
Absolutely screwed is over. Wasted over a week of my time saying he was buying my horses. Said he has sent a deposit but it didn’t clear. After a few days he told me it was the bank and he changed banks. Then when I asked for proof of payment he said his accountant would send it. Then I smelled a rat and asked again and he won’t return our calls. He is extremely convincing and really makes you think he is a good person.
Scammer pretends to want to buy cars, just wastes time. Ignore him.
Definitely a SCAMMER.
