POSTAL SCAM!!!! I have a lot of international deliveries so I was a bit concerned. It looked official, but it didn’t tell me where the possible item was and when I copied the Ref No and searched the legitimate site via Google, it didn’t exist. Don’t fall for it!! Block the number straight away.
I got a text a couple of days ago (friday) telling my order has been held at our forwarding depot. Please follow instructions here (link) I was expecting an item from overseas so followed the link. This took me to a web page that looked like a TNT/Fedex page. Complete with a tracking code number and a button to click to track the item. This took me to another page telling me there was a customs fee of $2.00 owing and a further button to "Schedule Delivery" Clicking this took me through a couple of other pages of delivery options to a page giving me an estimated delivery date and time. At this point I started to get suspicious as I requested a weekday delivery and the date given was a Sunday. There was also a message "Enter your contact information on the next page and pay the $2.00 customs duty" I continued to the next page where the amount to pay was now $4.00 and payment details were requested. At this point I decided this was a scam and closed it down.
