An Asian woman called claiming to be from the Visa and Mastercard Call Centre. I found it suspicious since they are two separate companies. I decided to hang up on her.
A woman with a foreign accent claiming to be from MasterCard and Visa securing department. I had a similar call from 02 8530 5720 two days ago and then I hung up immediately. Today I let her talk. She asked if I made made a payment on my Visa Card for $1,000 to I can't remember who. I said yes, that was me. Then she asked again if I had made a payment to eBay of $3,000 and I said Yes. She then asked a third time about another payment, which I responded yes. Then she said thankyou and hung up.
Spam, said from immigration, my password and visa had issue. So stupid.
This number called me and played an automated message threatening that my phone service would be discontinued if I didn't respond. I hung up and blocked the caller as it seemed like a definite scam, and the accent sounded suspiciously foreign.
