Automated phone call posing as Visa security services.
Just tried to ring me, definitely a scam as my phone stops calls that I don’t know.
Call sounded like a recorded robotic message from Visa about large charges on my card to eBay - $300 and $1300. I don't have a Visa card!! Def a SCAM.
An unknown number called my work mobile but did not leave a message; I am suspicious of this call.

Suspected Spam.

Called, no message left, have to agree with spam/scam call.
Robo Call.
I have just received a call some minutes ago, my phone has flagged it as spam so it blocked it. The caller left a voce message. I was curious to hear the message so I have listened to it.
It was a recorded Chinese (lady) voice message - so definitely a spam or scammer. I heard this in the news some years ago that these scammers are targeting Chinese nationals and threatening them of arrest and jail time by authorities if they don't pay up their taxes or over dues during their stay in Australia.
The recommendation is to NOT answer or press any number in attempt to reply. Otherwise, they may capture your response as form of electronic agreement or consent and use it to siphon your bank account - especially if they already have your identity details. With the recent data breaches (Medibank, Optus, etc), these scammers would definitely have people's details already (myself included) and just waiting for some opportunities to get into one's online account.
My voicemail only caught the end of the message, but it was voiced by a machine. Most likely spam.
Suspicious: After I missed a call from this number and decided to call back, I was informed that the number is not available from this service. This lack of connectivity raises alarm bells for me.
I answered the call, but there was no response when I asked who was calling. It seems like it was probably an automated robocall.
I was contacted by someone who falsely claimed there were visa charges made to my account through eBay. I don’t even own a visa card! This is definitely a scam.
They called but didn't leave any message. My smartphone flagged the call as suspected spam, which makes me wary of the legitimacy of this number.
