Billsaver or bill saver scam pretending to be a third party offering discounts to electricity rates due to a ‘change in rate from May 2025’. ‘Maria’ called and was quite aggressive and condescending pretending that she had a connecting to energy Australia and other Australian electricity providers. Would not provide information to validate who ‘billsaver’ was but was very pushy for me to provide personal details. The phone number has a pre recorded message if you call back but the recording is of poor quality and is done that way so you can’t quite hear and then leave a message. It’s all party of the scam.
