The Australia Federal Police does nothing in relation to these callers.
Tax payers just waste money feeding them as the penalty does not detract these criminals.

Same as other reviews - spoke Chinese (mandarin) and pretended they were a friend from way back. Said his name was Danny (but seems like they go by different aliases). Kept saying "you don't remember me?" and said "you helped me a long time ago" and that they were "from Melbourne". Wouldn't answer where I was supposedly meant to know them from.

If you pick up the call and ask, "你是谁" (which is 'Who are you?' in Chinese), the person answers something like Yongbin (not sure). Doesn't speak English, probably a scam aimed at Chinese international students or families.
