This number called me but hung up immediately after I answered. Whenever I try to call back, the line is busy, which seems suspicious.

Its a spam call. The guy behind it is a Michael Stanyer. Regular number in 0418555686. Lives in Melbourne Vic.

After searching on Reverse AU this is one number going straight to the Blocked Number List.

The caller identified themselves as being from a company named Levitate. When I asked them to provide more information about what Levitate is, they immediately hung up on me. I have since blocked this number, as it seems obviously suspicious and likely a scam.

Received a call from this number, they mentioned they are from Levitate an A. I company. They knew my name but when I corrected the pronunciation they then hung up. It is possible but not confirmed, they may be collecting voice samples for their company.

If you answer, be sure to ask the caller how high they can levitate you and what the cost will be, and only proceed if they clearly outline what you will gain from the investment! After asking, I recommend hanging up.

I received a call where a girl asked, “Is this (name)?” I inquired about who was calling and their purpose, but she continued to ask for my name, making it clear she had it. Comes from company called "Levitate" who seem unable to explain who they are or what they do. Clear Australian voice & they knew my real name, although I did not confirm anything. Call terminated & number blocked.

This number called my mobile, my phone lit up Potential Fraud, it went to my voicemail they didn't leave message. If it was someone important or genuine they will leave a message. So I'm guessing this is a scam caller.

I believe there should be penalties for telecommunications companies that allow these scammers to use their services to contact individuals. They are effectively selling our personal information without consequence.
