I just got a text saying 'G'day' from this number. Did a bit of digging and it looks like it's a scammer. Better watch out folks!
I received a call from someone pretending to be from Visa, claiming that a $199 charge from a person named Ben Matthews was on hold. They asked if I was familiar with Ben Matthews, but when I said I would look it up online and asked for my Visa account number, the caller abruptly hung up. The voice was that of an Asian woman, and it appeared she was trying to obtain my Visa card information.
Came up as spam.
Received a recorded voice telling asking me to press 1 to approve an overseas credit card or 2 to report it. Highly suspicious.
