This is a scammer, pretending to be an Commonwealth Bank Employee telling your account has been compromised. I do not have an account with the said bank. Be careful.
This number called as an eBay precaution number to validate online purchase of $500 which I did not make.
I have continuously gotten spam calls from numbers beginning with “048390” they are just scammers I have had one that said I have a transfer from my bank sending $800 to someone in America under the name James Smith and asked if I wanted to cancel the transfer and when I said no they sounded confused and just said okay goodbye and hung up. (They also sounded like they were outside on a farm)
I said no and the transfer never happened.
