These scumbags ripped off my elderly mother by pretending to be pest controllers I hope the slimey creeps can sleep at night knowing that my mother a battling pensioner scrapped hard to get the money together.

Looked up tile cleaning, called and booked a job. By accident I noticed the T&C sent in the confirmation was for carpets... When the person didn't come on time and when I called them; they didn't answer with the name of a company. Then thankfully I searched the number and found this. Thank you everyone who reported! Ive cancelled the service. Reminded me to always check the T&C; and always get their name when I call the number!

Hi I just got 6 missed calls in a row after paying sam maintenance $250 last night for bed bug fumigation. What was the scam that you figured out?
Dodgy-ass “pest control”. Hired via Google search, their website was pestpatrol dot au. A very sweet guy came to do the job, however arrived an hour early so I was unprepared, in the middle of doing something else, and got flustered. Didn’t pick up on a few mild red flags, but after paying $300 cash for four mouse traps I could’ve bought at Bunnings, I noticed the invoice was for Sam’s Maintenance and Pest Control; not “pest patrol” like the website… next morning got a missed call from this number—googled it and suddenly all of the little red flags made sense. Off to report them to the pigs, but with little hope for resolution because I’m not sure I have much tangible evidence of a crime…
Contracted via Hi Pages. Quoted 250 for a pest control job. I got a better quote for 190 and cancelled. They pleaded with me to reconsider and I took them for 220 as he could come earlier. My mistake.
Job was meant to take 2 hours. He asked me to empty out all linen cupboard which I did!!!. Inspected around house with the little torch. Had a sprayer. And an unmarked van. Had to vacate property for 2 hours. We left for 5 mins and had a weird feeling, went back, to an empty house, no spray. The money of course had been transferred by my bank. Indian guys on phone, and in person. Beware.
I contacted this company for carpet cleaning. Dud job done, which I didn’t realise until today when the carpet dried. I paid cash which I have a receipt for.
On contacting the owner tonight for a refund he was evasive and hung up. I tried several times to recall to no avail. Then I contacted the number on the invoice ‘sam’s maintenance and pest control’ only to get a voice mail. Now all msgs have been deleted from my phone although I still have records of phone calls made by myself to them. My concern is that they know I am an older lady living alone - any advice would be appreciated!
Claimed to be a pest controller. Came out, took cash, no receipt, no card, no signage on the van. Asked for a receipt, was told it would be sent out. Called the number, rude man who didn’t even know he was pretending to be a pest controller, once again said it will be sent out.
This number is a scam. Pretended to be a Pest Control expert, abusive and basically scammed us out of $792 on resolving a wasps nest. Pretends to work at a company called Sam's Maintenance and Pest Control which is a lie. Do not use this piece of shit.
Searched for a wasp nest removal. Got confirmation from this number that booking was made; Indian dude turned up, removed a nest and charged me $500 for time and poison. The next day wasps are still there and it looked like he used my wasp spray. He said if any problems to let him know, which I've done but doubt if I'll see him again.
