I have received several texts from different numbers. I got one on 18/01/22 Tuesday at 6:33 pm saying “How did you get our video?” then a link.
Another text from the number +61 473 015 614 on 17/01/22 Monday at 12:22 am saying “You we’re unable; to * * receive a parcel - what to do?” then a link after that. (I am writing this as word for word but not attaching the link as it definitely looks as a scam).
Another one from +61 458 731 665 on 12/01/22 Wednesday at 11:54 pm saying “You’re on this video - / check for * a message from someone there then a link”.
I received quite a lot of phone calls too which comes up on my iPhone “supposedly” appearing to be calling from New Zealand 19/01/22 at 5 pm (+64 18624380), Singapore 18/01/22 at 3:40 pm (+65 7511 2430), Spain 18/01/22 at 12:40 pm (+34 797 753 155), United Kingdom 12/01/22 at 12:49 pm (+44 7536 955631), another two calls from New Zealand 10/01/22 at 4:13 pm (+64 19671467), and 07/01/22 at 12:27 pm (+64 19512468)
Unsure why I’m getting these texts and calls, but I have noticed I am only receiving them frequently at the start of this year. Have had a few scam calls and texts in the past but not as frequent as of recently. Be careful of these calls and texts. If it’s not a familiar number and appearing to be from another country, don’t bother to answer, as it will most definitely be a scam or possibly telemarketing. Do not click any link you receive as I have heard these links cause you to be scammed especially if it asks for personal details or bank details, consequences are you will be scammed, hacked, leaked or something malicious will happen to your phone.
Received a text from +61 481 348 387 tonight at 7 pm 17 Jan 2022. I think its definitely a scam because its asking if this is your video and then a link. I did not open the text, being aware of these things. I also received a text from +61 407 696 989 yesterday at 2 pm saying someone put a lot of effort into making this video about you... What do you think? And then a link. Deleted that also without opening. Beware peoples! If you are tempted to open these sorts of texts you could be downloading malicious software that ruins your life!
