Today I had a call from the number 0480 039 418 it missed it so I called them back, an Australian accent guy answered and said he wasn’t sure who it was and was another colleague of his in which he then put me straight onto another line when another guy answered starting with J. He asked if I knew who Kate was and if she was reachable, as they needed to get into contact with her, they said my name and said first and last name they continued to keep asking questions about Kate and had given a last name and nick name to which I still declined, they continued to than ask or state a name if and who I was dating to I declined and said why are you asking personal questions …. Blew me off.

, than continued to ask and state if I worked or work at a certain organisation. That’s when I knew I wasn’t being listened to and my questions asking who and who they were calling from weren’t being answered the phone call ended….. VERY WEIRD.

I Guy named Joseph called asking if I was related to someone with the same last name as me. I said that I wasn't. He then asked if I thought that this was a common last named. He had an Australian accent and sounded very casual.

I asked him how he came upon my number an he said it was listed in an online database similar to the white pages.

Upon reflection I am curious as to whether his questions were aimed to record me saying my name as well as yes or no to be able and use it to access accounts etc. Be wary and do not say any part of your name or yes/no.

Got a phone call from a guy asking me by my name, once I said yes that’s me, they then asked if I knew a woman named Katrina? And did she still live at my address, then proceeds to give me my address. I said I wasn’t willing to give you that information, but I didn’t know her at all. He tried to fish me for more info, asking did I live at that address in 2008 when she was there? I said I’m not willing to give you that information, but I don’t know who that is. The call ended, but I called back to ask who they were, a man picks up and patches me to the same guy I just spoke to, another person on a split line, the man said he wouldn’t divulge this info to me, couldn’t tell me. I asked if it was something legal, he said no. Very suss… any ideas anyone?

Rang back and didn't get an introduction from anyone about what company they were from.

Was asked how long ago I received a call I stated time ad was told a coworker (gabby) would have tried to call me.

I asked who they were and was told " were a private company on a shared line". Did not state what company at all. So weird.
