Got a weird call from this number asking about someone with my surname. When I asked who they were, they just dodged the question. Not impressed!

Seriously, they need to find someone else to pester—can’t they take a hint? 😒😤😠

Caller asked if I knew X who is a neighbour. When I asked how they got my mobile number and name they said it was in their data base. Caller would not identify themselves. They said they were trying to get a message to X. I was very uncomfortable as they knew the street I lived on, my name and mobile number. I hung up telling them I would be reporting them. Which I did with the local police.

I received a call from someone who asked if I knew a person named “X” who shares my last name. When I responded that I didn’t know what they were talking about, they simply thanked me and hung up. The whole situation felt very strange.

A woman called our business looking for a person she claimed to have "lost contact with," but she refused to give any more information about why she was calling. She provided a company name that appears to be connected to debt collection.

The caller inquired if I knew a specific individual. I responded that I no longer communicate with him. They then asked if I was aware of anyone who might still be in contact with this person. I reiterated that I did not know anyone connected to him. The caller did not identify themselves. I suspect this is a scam call.

Trying to scam confidential information.

This caller claimed that I was somehow linked to a person they mentioned and asked me to pass on a message. I have no idea who this person is, which raises many red flags. The whole interaction felt completely suspicious.

Similar to others, I received a call from this number where the caller requested contact information for someone I did not recognize. They stated it was a confidential matter but were evasive when I pressed for details. I have no idea how they obtained my personal information.

I initially got a missed call from this number. When I called back to inquire, the person on the line was vague about who they were trying to contact and abruptly ended the conversation. They seemed taken aback that I had called back, and I did not reveal any personal information. This is definitely a scam, and I'm curious how they got my number.

I received a call from someone asking if I knew a person named Darren, who they wanted my help contacting. When I inquired about his last name, they were vague and unsure about the spelling. They claimed to have found my number through social media but were very unclear about how they got that information. The entire conversation felt extremely suspicious.

When I answered, a lady informed me that this was a shared business call number, meaning it could be from various businesses trying to contact me. When I provided the number that dialed me, she transferred me to someone looking for a Lee Wasson, which seemed very odd.

The caller refused to reveal the name of the company they represented and persistently asked for personal information, such as my name and address, for someone else. Their demeanor seemed very suspicious.

The number belongs to a debt collection company called Credit Solutions. They are relatively straightforward in their approach. If they call to inquire about someone known to you, it is likely because that person has not paid an outstanding debt and is being pursued for payment.

Wouldn't tell me who they were, were asking for 2rd person information, refusing to answer any questions. Scam dodgy.

I did not recognize the number, chose not to answer, and they didn’t leave any voicemail.

I received a call from this number where the caller, who did not identify themselves or provide information about their organization, asked if I was still in contact with my friend using her full name. They requested that I confirm the last three digits of her phone number and wanted me to pass along a message for her to call them back. The lack of transparency and their probing questions raised my suspicions about this being a scam.

Alot of friends having being being calls from this no. However, when trying to call the no. Back, a computerised message bank. All my contacts in my Facebook are being called. I am very suspicious of this no. Please if you get contacted by this no please leave a review.

Left message to call through a strange point of contact, when called the number given would not provide who they were or what business they were calling from just saying they deal in "personal matters". Did not provide them any further information until they would elaborate or give a business name or reason they would contact and they refused. If they aren't a scam they are in a dodgy line of work, best to not provide information to such a shady company.

Appears to be a legitimate debt collection agency (based in either Sydney or Canberra). However they won't tell you they are a debt collection agency, instead they say they deal with personal matters. They call because they are unable to get hold of the person they are looking for and you are a point of contact for that person.

The caller was evasive and refused to disclose the name of their company. Instead, they persistent asked for my personal information, which made me suspect that this could be an identity theft scam.
