I received a call today from someone asking about a person whose name happens to be the son of a friend I haven't been in touch with for 5 or 6 years. They requested that I relay a message for them to call back, which felt suspicious to me. The caller inquired about personal matters and asked me to share a contact number for someone I don’t know. I enjoy interacting with scammers, and they requested that the return call be made to (02) 9173 1902.
This number called looking for a person named Jaqueline Bruce who supposedly lived on Fleet Street in Browns Plains. The caller claimed they found my number in the White Pages, which is wrong since I've never had this number while living there. I don't know anyone by that name.
