I received a text message notifying me that Australia Post tried delivering a parcel to my address on Sunday morning at 9.01 am.

The text has a link attached to arrange another delivery.

Time. Phone number 61+046879556 has no history of a scam.

However, my phone number is not known to anyone other than to immediate family therefore Australia Post would not have my contact number as I only use my landline not my mobile.

Also I was home Sunday morning at the time of supposed delivery, not card was left. Australia Post does not deliver on Sunday.

I have not purchased anything that would require parcel delivery therefore the sender would not have any contact and if so it would be a landline number.

This text is suspicious at best and requires to be treated as a scam.
