Called and hung up before answering. My phone IDd the number as potential fraud.
I received a call from someone identifying themselves as Amazon Prime services, but I suspect it was spam.
Someone claiming to be from Amazon called me, saying there was an issue with my Prime subscription and that I could cancel and get a refund. When I asked about the weather in Kolkata, they abruptly hung up. Interestingly, I do not have an Amazon Prime account at all.
A call was received from this number, but no voicemail was left for the recipient.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon and stated that they would automatically renew my subscription for $99. Confused by this claim, I chose to hang up.
