I received a call from a number claiming to be the Australian Bone Marrow Donor Registry. They mentioned they had tried to contact me recently and would attempt to do so again shortly. I received a voicemail reminding me about my appointment with Jane Barker scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 12:30 PM. The message asked me to reply with 'Y' to confirm or to call 6228 3331 for any changes. It also stated that if I fail to notify them of any changes within 48 hours, I could incur a cancellation fee of up to the full consult fee. Additionally, they requested that I call their office if I have COVID or have been in close contact with someone who has.
I received a text message claiming that my TMR registration payment had been unsuccessful and that money would be refunded to my account. They also requested that I contact them.
