Understanding Mobile Number Spam
Mobile numbers like 0426 630 459 used for spam can indicate several scenarios: a legitimate phone that has been compromised or sold to scammers, a spoofed number (caller displaying a false number), or a number being used by a telemarketing operation. Vodafone mobile numbers are sometimes purchased or hijacked for spam campaigns because they appear more trustworthy than 1300 or 1800 numbers.
The fact that 0426630459 has contacted the same person repeatedly suggests either a targeted telemarketing list or an automated system cycling through numbers. Either way, blocking 0426 630 459 is your most effective immediate action.
