I was contacted by someone named Jacob on Gumtree who tried to sell me something. He requested a $10 PayID transfer, and when I refused, he called me an idiot. This is clearly a scam attempt.

I found this person on Gumtree, and they requested that I transfer $15 for petrol via Osko. When I suggested that this could be a scam, they reacted defensively, which raised my suspicions further.

This is a SCAM. The person responded to my advertisement on Gumtree, offering to sell me an item. They asked for a payment of $10 or $15 via PayID before I could collect the item, which was suspicious. Additionally, they provided a fake address where the item supposedly could be picked up, indicating they did not have the item at all.

Replied to my wanted add on Gumtree. Offers what you want super cheap ans asks for $10 delivery or deposit. When you transfer he asks for $10 more and blocks you. Don’t fall for it! Have reported to the police as there’s so many comments of him doing this.

Caller contacted me by GumTree offering non-existent stove top to me. Wasted my time and is a plain nuisance.
