My brother who is in disability play pesion revived a call but must of called number back, he was transferred to real life insurance in which they managed to get a payment of 76:00 each fortnightsunce march 2016. We had to send a fax in to cancel it as they wouldn't take verbal authority over phone.... Bit strange cause you can take verbal authority to take his money. Not sure where to to from here to get his money back but he he sucked in he would he getting money back.
First time they called I was at work. Told whoever it was I don't have time to talk now. They said will only take 30 seconds. Five minutes later she's still going on about it. Interrupted her to say again I don't have time for this. Now this and another number are calling me multiple times a day. Blocked them all. If I wanted insurance Ide call an insurance company. But some ppl still must be stupid enough to fall for these type of scams.
0423489501 has been calling me, but When I answered there was silence on the other end and then he/she hung up. Also When I call back, got the message that the number has been disconnected.
I had someone call and they said hi it's Damien then it went to (silence and was like ooops I left a message).

Had half a dozen calls from this no. In the last week. Don't know the no. So let ring through to Messagebank, where of course, they get your name from your greeting message, but in turn don't leave a message themselves which is suspicious.
I inadvertently answered their last call while in a rush, when the guy said my name and then we were cut off or he hung up.
Can't help but wonder if they're also 'data farming' to sell on the dark web. You know, they now have your number AND name, etc, and whatever other info they gan gather from social media.

Definitely a scam.. Got a call from the mobile number today claiming they are from Real insurance in the Gold Coast about life insurance. Didn't trust the caller found it odd, told them its a scam and your calling the wrong number. Contacted Real insurance they are only based in Sydney not Gold Coast, also had no record on there system contacting me!!

Call from "Australian Customer Care". Ended up being a sales call for some kinds of insurance, life insurance, "final expenses" insurance. Do not answer if this number calls you.
What I got was a passive-aggressive earful, mercifully short though.
Sounded like an older lady. Stated call is recorded for quality control purposes.
Asked if I had life insurance and/or final expenses insurance or similar in place.
After a pause for thought I calmly said:
"I don't need to discuss that with you.".
She then began talking further. I did not want to hear more persuasion to listen to their product information.
I calmly interrupted and said:
"Excuse me, madam, I ..." and wanted to finish "don't need to discuss that with you".
I was cut off and told "Well I just wanted to offer you a cheaper alternative" and she hung up the call.
Called, left no message. Looks like spam.

Rang about insurance and when I told them no and my age they said I was too young so I asked them how they had my number and the best answer they had was "It's on my screen".
