Had a call saying they were from Telstra and that my IP address had gone from private to public. I knew it was a scam immediately and I’m not with Telstra but I decided to play along for a bit so I asked what I had to do to fix it. They told me I needed to put them on speaker so I could hear them loud and clear and then they asked me to open a browser and type in an address. I was actually out and then decided I couldn’t be bothered so I told them “I was going to entertain your scam for a while but I can’t be arsed”. They promptly hung up.
