I received a call from this number, trying to tell me about International Share market Trading, so I hung up.

The woman said her name was "Cindi," and spoke with an African accent. I am unable to refine her accent any further than that.

I had a call from that number tonight which I didn't answer because, like many others, if I don't recognize your number or it's private, then I obviously don't know you! Giving in to the overwhelming urge of curiosity, I called the number back to hear "This number is not connected, please check the number and try again." This tells me that this number doesn't exist at all and can only be a diversion (re-route) number to appear local, or innocent for that matter, when we look at what's displayed on our screen. I don't know anyone in the US that might be calling me and certainly not anyone that would need to be as devious as to mask their number in order to trick, fool or make me feel comfortable about answering it?? Who are these people, why are they calling me and when is AUstralia gonna snap out of it and get ourselvee a true, ridgy didge reverse lookup? If I know your name and punch it into the White Pages website, unless the customer has paid a fee to keep it private, then the internal search will not only give me your number but it will also feed me the residential address!! So why can't we punch the number and have it feed the name and address to go with it? There is no possible or remotely valid legal argument to this based an Privacy Laws due the details that it provides if run the search by name instead of number.... I don't get it.
