Threatening to have the Federal Police arrest me for participating in illegally importing restricted goods.

As usual, officious recorded message & press 1 to speak to Federal Police.. Who strangely spoke with an Indian accent! And almost unintelligible.

Gave the freak a mouthful, at which point the call was terminated. Before they asked for gift cards!

About This Report

This page is part of the Reverseau Scam Intelligence Database, a community-driven dataset maintained by Reverseau since 2014. The database documents caller behaviour across Australian phone numbers based on first-hand user experiences.

Each entry is generated when individuals who received calls or messages from a number submit a report through our review form. Reports include a caller safety rating (1–5 scale) and a written account of the interaction. All submissions are moderated before publication.

The safety rating shown on this page reflects the collective assessment of 0417 742 861 by real users. It measures perceived caller risk, not the quality of this page. A low rating indicates that reporters consider this number likely to be associated with scam or spam activity.
