It's essential to remain vigilant; if a message seems out of the blue or requests urgent action without prior context, it’s time to think twice.
How to Protect Yourself
- Do Not Click on Links: Refrain from clicking on links within unsolicited texts. These could lead to malicious sites that compromise your personal information.
- Verify with the Source: If you receive a suspicious message referencing a package, contact the service provider directly using official channels rather than responding to the text.
- Block and Report: If you identify a number as a potential scammer, block it immediately and report the number to Australian consumer protection agencies.

What Our Users Reviewed
I was instructed to visit their office to pick up a parcel and was provided with a link for more information. Since I am not expecting any parcels from DHL, I believe this is a scam.
Received a text message from this number saying it was from DHL and for me to come to their office to collect a parcel with a link attached. Letters spaced out in the text. Didn’t open the link and I blocked the number but I definitely haven’t ordered anything and am definitely not expecting anything.
I’ve been getting a lot of these sort of text messages from mobile numbers like this. Saying there is a new voice mail with the letters spaced out and a link to click. Never have I clicked on them but it’s annoying. I continue to block but they keep coming. Be wary of scammers.
