Had a call from this number. Woman with indian accent (in busy call centre environment) addressed me by name and introduced herself as (I am spelling it as she pronounced it) ZEE-OW-EE.
I said “what was your name?” She repeated it and I said “what!?!?”
She then screamed ZEEOWEE.
I said spell it.
So she says Z O E.
I said “oh yeah I see, you are trying to use an Anglo name, it’s actually pronounced Zoe, but anyway why are you bothering me?”
She said: I am calling to give you a better deal on your private health.
I asked: Better than what?
Her: than what you are paying now.
Me: what am I paying now.
Her; I’m sorry I cannot give out that information.
Me: well how do you know if it’s a better deal.
Her: I have that information here, I just can’t repeat for privacy reasons.
Me: I’m not interested.
Her: but you will be when I tell you more about it.
Me: I doubt it. How about we end this now.
Her: but I have a great deal.
Me: do you honestly think you are the first person to call about this.
Her; maybe, I don’t know.
Me: just leave me alone.
