This is the 2nd time this number has been used to try and scam my elderly parents.
The 1st time they successfully scammed my Dad out of hundreds of dollars from 2 accounts. The man with a foreign accent claimed Dads computer was corrupt and he could fix it over the phone. Fortunately, we contacted the bank straight away and they stopped the transactions. The same person and number called again with the same plea/demands but they hung up. Grrrrrr.
Today 02 8003 3426 called and the Indian (self confessed) asked me to turn on my computor as he said that my IP Address was Public. I refused and he hung up. Yesterday same voice and same name (Sam Smitt) called from the follwing number with the same message. +1 (412) 927-0989. The name appeared as "McKeesport,
