Scam text. Showing from HSBCAU, but already confirmed with HSBC that this number is 100% scams.
Just got a text "We have paused a transaction to LTS PTY, if you did NOT make this transaction contact us on 1800954682 to verify."
Called HSBC at 1300 308 008 and confirmed with staff that this is fraudulent/scam attempting to get customer information.
I also got a texted saying call this number.
"HSBCAU - XXX AUD to ### has been STOPPED. Please dial 1800954682 to speak to us". Scam text as I have never bank with HSBC. As well, HSBC Australia does not use 1800 telephone number for customer contacts.
This is a scam pretending to be from the HSBC Australia fraud department. Do not provide or confirm any personal information; instead, visit your local branch if you have concerns.
