What Our Users Reviewed
Pretending to be ANZ bank. Scammer.
It’s a scam number.
Received a text about VoiceID for ANZ, that had been setup by Mohamed in Perth, and this number was listed as the support contact - the text message was sent to me through a legitimate ANZ text service. So, I called the number and he started asking me really weird questions about whether I traded in crypto and then asked me about my ANZ accounts and which one had the highest and tried to get me to pay my super into a ‘new’ account, and then started asking me about other banks I use and which accounts had the highest amounts. Luckily I picked up that it was dodgy before I payed any money, please be aware he uses an ANZ recording at the start of the call to make it sounds legit, he also has an English accent and used the name Thomas Wilson.
