I just got the same popuu as others on my new Laptop. It said someone was trying to steal my CC details and bank details... Ad to call M$ on the 1800 number. Seeegit when I called then the guy said it would cost $140 dollars.
I then asked US? And he said yes. I asked why US when I'm in Australia? Anyway, long story short he said I called the US on an international number! Right.... I said I'd call him back...
Got a popup that froze my pc with the above number to call. I called and gave them a blast, they wanted to connect to my pc to fix it. I would like to scam them back but don't know how to do it. Even just for fun and getting my own back. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
