Got a SMS from 19771978, GameNation. Never download game or subscribed. Talked to VirginMobile to block it, but couldn't get money back.
Horrible...never asked them to send messages or subscribed them but I keep getting these messages saying to download the mobile games, never downloaded or even opened the link but I got charged 6.60 in my vodafone account, after complaining they asked me to contact them and unsubscribe.. Fingers crossed won't have this charge on my bill again..
I spoke to vodafone they have credited $6.60 off account and advised to report this number to scamwatch.

I have requested to block international calls and bar all 19............ numbers. I will be speaking to another provider to give me the service I deserve.
After this appeared on my Optus Phone bill rang this number and spoke to a pompous English dude who was talking to someone in the background who sounded a lot like his daughter. Claims I downloaded a game. Have never done this. Then wanted my address so he could post me a refund cheque. Yeah Right!!

Yes similar issue here, I am with Optus and reported this number to them, hopefully they will block this number. It was charging $6 on my recent bill but I got refund.

Yes similar story here, I am with Vodafone. The customer service told me it was from a Vertical company? They have me this number to call them 1800 302 038. Scam. Please shut them down. However Vodafone did not refund my money. We'll opt-out this service provider. They don't protecting us.
