This is A SCAM!!!! The person who called me spoke English so badly, it was pathetically obvious.

They were looking for a family member but used a christian name as a surname. Look, if you're worried it is Centrelink don't be. Centrelink will rarely ring you. They will usually write to you.

To the idiots who think this is a scam, go to the human services website. Unless the scammers also hacked the DHS website and no one noticed, you will find the phone number readily available for compliance reviews.

This is a scam call. I was advised by centre link that they have had many people reporting the same issue. The letterboxes in my complex were all broken into so I am assuming they got hold of my information this way. Do not answer this call. When I questioned them they refused to give any information. Scam alert!

This isn't a scam and it's probably the only centrelink number you won't wait on hold for half an hour before someone picks up on.

This is DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES and is about a CENTRELINK call. NOT A SCAM!

Total SCAM!!!

NOT Centrelink!

If you have concerns call Centrelink directly via MyGov.

This is a Centrelink branch... May show up as a private number but definitely legit! Answer it, as the person may not be allowed to leave a message if you don't have sufficient ID on your machine.
