So I got this letter about a refund from Woolworths insurance, right? Called the number and turns out it’s from the Philippines! Handed over my name and account number, and guess what? No refund showed up! Definitely a scam—what a joke! 👎

To arrange your refund, please contact us at 1300 919 579 between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday." Please be cautious as this is a phishing attempt.

Her reply was 'car' and wanted my details, including address, email address, DOB. It was only then that she said they would need to update my banking details, I enquired about the amount to be refunded and then said don't bother. So close...
