My dad received a text message saying:

"Hi [dad's name], we sent a communication regarding a refund. If not received, call us on 1300 860 830 and quote [number] CommBank"

My dad doesn't have a CommBank account. I told my dad not to call the number.

They answered sounded like a real person, but then hunch said hang up and call commbank directly. Sure enough find this page and the first recording on the commbank machine says "there is a text scam" and "don't report it we know already". So blocking this number now.
