Crikey! Received a dodgy email from what looked like Westpac saying my daily limit got changed. If I didn’t order that, they wanted me to ring back that number. Lucky I didn't because checked their real scam reporting number, and surprise, surprise, no change at all! Always verify first before dialing - don’t be a mug!
This is a scam call. I received an unexpected SMS stating, "NEVER SHARE THIS CODE! Enter SMS Code: 424648 to confirm a payment of $50.00 to BSB 212200 account 600408165." If you receive this SMS, call 1300 655 505 for inquiries.
I received multiple texts from this number while I was sleeping, stating that I logged into Westpac online from a different phone and that they sent a code to me. It instructed me to call Westpac at 1300 655 505 if it wasn't me. I called Westpac, and they confirmed that they did not send any messages to my number, which made me concerned about how my personal information was accessed.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS - This number was associated with a scam email warning me that my NetBank account had been compromised, despite me not being a customer of CBA. On July 7th, 2022, I received two texts containing confirmation codes for payments of $5,489 and $6,402.79. They urged me to contact this number if I did not authorize these payments. I will not engage with these scammers!
