Just received a letter to call this number for a refund. I always Google any number I don't know. Sure enough it's a scam. I haven't rented from RR in years and they don't know this address so I was suspicious. I guess some would fall for it so spread the word. I wonder if RR are aware of this?
Just got a radio rental letter also clam in I have a refund and call this number with reference number, First thing he said he was from radio rentals. Then asked for full name and date of birth before he can proceed. They also state on for they need your bank details. I don't know how police can't track this.

Received a text message today 20.07.16 from 0408444716 saying.

I got a letter in the mail, claiming I have a refund owing from radio rentals. It said to call this number and quote a reference number. Sounded suspicious to me so I looked up the number and low and behold, its a scam. Knew it looked to good to be true.
This is most definitely a scam number. Do not call it! I received a text from another number (0408444716) saying: You may be entitled to a refund on you account previously held with Radio Rentals. Please call 1300 556 904 quoting reference 69*****. After some research, I've found other people have been sent various texts to call this number by pretending to be either Radio Rentals, Rentlo, a debt collection agency or AGL. Scammers/phishers. Beware.
