What Our Users Reviewed
Unsolicited call from an elderly sounding male calling himself John Van Dyke, attempted to fabricate an imaginary previous conversation (never spoken before)" We did speak very briefly in the past, you were ever so busy, I hope you can speak now etc etc." When I asked him to provide details about where and when we spoke he replied "I'm sorry I usually keep a record of that but alas not this time so I cannot tell you that ". Hmmh - bullsh1t detector going off. He then launches in sales pitch "Centenary edition of the Lions club annual, would you like to place an advert etc blah blah blah?". Declined. Called him back- phone engaged (because he is doing unsolicited telesales on this number), tried again answered "Hello, John.." not "WA Lions club" - I asked where he had got my phone number from - "I called you before, that's when we spoke" - that's not the questions I asked you - "I cannot remember".
Did you get my number from a third party ? " Starts to become a bit rude, raises his voice "I have already answered your question - this is the third time (?) you are asking me that, I have a great deal of work to do, " I say take my number off your list and do not call me again. Hangs up on me!
