Just got a call from this number... Came up Suspected Spam... I rang back but just hangs up on connection. Sooo definately spam or fraud number.
Scammer - said they were with Telstra and there was an issue with my IP address and they wanted to remote onto my computer to assist me fix it. Noisy background, indian accented lady, hung up as soon as I asked them how they got my details as I wasn't with Telstra.
Some one claiming to be from Telstra and that there was something wrong with my line. I don't deal with Telstra.
This call was an obvious scam pretending to represent Telstra, claiming my internet connection was down. I chose to hang up and block the number immediately.

Had a similar call yesterday from a different number pretending to be from Telsta saying that my phone has been hacked via my ip. Asked them what the account name the phone was under as it is a company phone. They hung up immediately. Typically the number does not connect.
