An Asian lady called and said they had previously attempted to reach me two times without success. She warned that if they couldn't reach me this time, something would happen to my SIM card. The call had some beeping noises, and I ended up hanging up before she finished speaking. I'm unsure about the implications of this call now.
A male voice claiming to be from a Superannuation fund contacted me, asking for personal information, including details about my accrued superannuation, and tried to persuade me to withdraw and invest my funds.
The call ID indicated it was from Western Australia. An Asian female caller, who sounded like she was in a call center with others in the background, asked for my name but did not provide any of her own, claiming to be from a superannuation company.
I did not answer this call, and the caller did not leave a message for me to listen to.
This call was from an Asian scammer who tried to sell me a fake travel deal by telling me an elaborate backstory. I found it frustrating as I continuously deal with such scams, so I hung up on them.
