What Our Users Reviewed
They rang claiming to be from Telstra, trying to fish for my details. Next, they were pestering me to confirm my email address too. Dodgy, if you ask me!
Called twice in 2 days.
No sms or voicemail left.
Received a call this morning and said I would receive a call from a case manager. Didn't happen just rang back requesting a SMS to verify that this is not a scam and also noted that the call was from an "08" std code which is generally South Australia and yet the location information came up on my phone as Perth Western Australia. I also note an American accent on the voicemail which went through to the person I spoke to. I asked for a employee number which was freely given but this could be a known ID format. FYI: Employee number: D989381. Not convinced and will wait for a SMS. NB: I do have a formal complaint which should be getting actioned by Telstra. Timeframe seems right but I am definitely a tad cynical and sceptical.
It's Telstra sales team, I rang back via the app as I also got a SMS.
I received a call from this number claiming it's Telstra Customer Support. I couldn't tell if it was a scam or not cause I am a Telstra client, but I am still sceptical they were trying to obtain my voice. The call seemed pointless.
Scam.
Scammers calling at least once a day.
Tried calling the number back an American accented message then cuts out.
