This one says they’re from Access Care Network – aged care, or maybe aged scare? You decide!
I got a call from this number and they said they were from some assessment team for aged care. Not sure about it though, seems a bit off to me.
When I answered the phone, there was a noticeable pause before a woman claimed she was from Telstra. She said my IP address had switched from private to public and that my internet was vulnerable. She asked for my email address and when I last checked my IP address. Feeling uncomfortable, I decided to hang up.
I received an automated phone call that claimed to be from ANZ Bank, stating that a debit transaction had been attempted on my credit card account. The issue is that I have never had a credit card with them and closed all my accounts with ANZ several years ago!
I did not answer this call because it was from a number not saved in my contacts.
