Robocall and Telemarketing Reports for 08 6289 1041
Contributors have flagged 08 6289 1041 (also written as 0862891041) as part of a persistent telemarketing operation linked to Netsip Pty Ltd, a telecommunications provider based in Western Australia. One detailed report indicates the caller operates a robocall system that generates new numbers repeatedly to circumvent blocking attempts, with the ability to spoof caller IDs to appear as though calls originate from different Australian cities including Sydney and Perth.
The core issue reported is relentless unwanted contact despite the contributor's phone number being registered on the Australian Do Not Call Register. The contributor has blocked over 30 numbers associated with this operation and describes a pattern where Netsip Pty Ltd invents new numbers faster than they can be blocked, suggesting systematic automation of outbound calling.
What Callers from 08 6289 1041 Are Doing
Reports about 0862891041 describe unsolicited sales solicitation calls with no legitimate reason for contact. The contributor notes that each attempt forces them to check their phone, identify the unknown number, verify it through Reverseau, and then manually block it. The operation appears designed to generate volume through repeated contact rather than legitimate sales engagement.
The contributor also raises concerns about potential data sourcing, suggesting their personal information including phone number, name, location, address, income level, and spending habits may have been purchased or harvested without explicit consent. They state they have not authorised 08 6289 1041 or any connected organisation to use their personal information or contact them.
Report Patterns and Timing
The primary report indicates an ongoing pattern of calls over an extended period, with the contributor describing the operation as continuous and repeated. The robocall tactic has evolved over time: initially, Netsip Pty Ltd reused particular numbers, but after being identified, they shifted strategy to generate new numbers on nearly every call attempt to evade block lists.
The operation spans multiple Australian geographic areas through caller ID spoofing, making it difficult for recipients to identify the true origin. One contributor received a missed call from 08 6289 1041 but could not identify the caller, adding to the pattern of unrecognised contact attempts.

What Our Users Reviewed
I consider this organisation to be a scam organisation in the sense that they continuously, repeatedly, call my number without invitation, any desire on my part, or any reason other than some sort of unwanted sales solicitation, even though my numbers are on the do-not-call register. I have blocked 30+ numbers linked to these numbers operated by Netsip Pty Ltd, a telecommunications provider, but they invent numbers faster than I, or anyone, could possibly block them.
In the past they would reuse a particular number, but after learning who they were, I now block every number they invent with the result that they now create new numbers nearly every time they ring me. They have the ability to make it look as though their number comes from anywhere in Australia from Sydney across to Perth.
My wish would be that they pay me at least $1,000 for each attempt to canvass me or otherwise irritate me by causing me to look at my phone to see yet another unrecognised number, check out the number on this site, then delete the number and block it. If it is illegal for aggressive debt collection agencies to repeatedly ring, irritate, and harass people, why then is it not illegal for these telemarketing parasites to do likewise.
Only money penalties will end Netsip Pty Ltd’s persistence and I would suggest a penalty of at least 100 million dollars be levied against such likely illegal behaviour, if and when the ACCC, the Telecommunications Ombudsmen, and other oversight agencies gain the teeth to address the issue of these type organisations doing harm to Australian society. My assumption is also that my personal information, such as phone number, name, general location, specific address, possibly my income level, and even my spending habits are being sold by this company to anyone who will buy the information in an attempt toward selling something.
I have not given my permission for this organisation, any other company, or group to use my personal information or to ring me for any reason - to my knowledge - and if I may have done so inadvertently in some way, I hereby revoke that permission. I have no doubt that this particular company is generating millions of calls, irritating, and harassing millions of people in exactly the same way they are doing to me; this is simply a numbers for cash game for them. Please report this number and any other number used by this organisation or that is in any way connected to them as partners, subscribers to their harassment technology, or in any way supportive of their anti-social business model to the proper authorities for the purpose of ending their existence on this planet.

Is 0862891041 illegal?
The persistent contact pattern reported for 08 6289 1041 appears to violate Australian Do Not Call Register regulations, which prohibit telemarketing calls to registered numbers without prior consent. The most effective approach is to lodge formal complaints with the Do Not Call Register (donotcall.gov.au) and ACMA (acma.gov.au), which can investigate and take enforcement action against Netsip Pty Ltd. Some phone providers also offer call-filtering services that can block suspected robocalls automatically.
Is there a penalty for Netsip Pty Ltd operating 08 6289 1041 this way?
Under Australian telemarketing and consumer protection laws, there are penalties for violations including unauthorised calls to Do Not Call Register numbers.
