I received a call from this number as well, fortunately I did not answer it. This call was on my mobile. I also got a call on my phone that said out of area and I did answer it. The only thing I got after a few seconds of silence was goodbye from a computer activated voice.
I am also on the do not call lost and have gone so far as making my house phone a silent number but they still seem to get through.
With all the technical advances today there should be a way to stop them.

When I asked him to repeat who he said he was, he said he was "Adam Sandler and this is a very important call". I told him I was working and hung up my phone.
