This was a scam call where the caller, who had a heavy accent, mentioned a supposed transaction of $1200 USD from my Commonwealth Bank account to a US travel company. When I clarified that I wasn't a Commonwealth Bank customer, they abruptly ended the call.

This was a dangerous scam attempt. The caller had alarming personal information about me, including my mobile carrier (Vodafone), my birthday, phone number, and home address. They were trying to lure me into giving them my account PIN by offering a supposed discount. I strongly recommend keeping your personal details secure and not sharing your account PIN with anyone.

I received a call from someone with a heavy accent claiming to be Harry from the Commonwealth Bank's head office. He was warning me about $900 charges in the USA on my Visa card but refused to provide the name of his supervisor or any callback information. The call ended abruptly when I questioned him.
