I answered the call, and they introduced themselves along with their company name. They inquired if someone specific was available but that person had stepped out. They asked if they could call back in an hour. I could hear multiple voices in the background, similar to a call center environment, which I found suspicious.
This person calls regularly claiming to be from the World Bank and asks to speak with the general manager. I have told him multiple times that he is not available and that we are not interested, and have asked him to please stop calling but he said that he will keep calling.
I received a call regarding a survey related to the World Bank. While I can't confirm whether it was legitimate or not, the company appeared to be reputable, and the caller did not pressure me when I expressed my disinterest.
They call daily asking to speak with my directors claiming to be doing a survey from World Bank and that they have already dealt with them before.
Not true and even when my directors are not keen to speak with them they keep trying on an almost daily basis.
